🌟 What is Tech Time Go Club
- We are a non-profit organization with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3), and also qualifies as a 509(a)(2) public charity under the Internal Revenue Code.
- We are a chapter of the American Go Association (AGA).
- We are 100% volunteer-run.

🧩 What does Tech Time Go Club do
- We rent venues for in-person activities in the Bay Area, and periodically hosting AGA-rated open tournaments with cash prizes.
- We maintain a Tech Time Library with hundreds of Go books, and lend them at no cost.
- We periodically invite top local players for simul games, and provide it for free to public.
- We offer online courses in 1-on-1 or small groups without profit.
- We organize San Jose team in AGA City League each season.
🚀 Mission
- As an ancient game with 3,000 years of history, Go gets new vitality in the AI era. Our mission is to promote Go in the Bay Area's local community. We want more people to understand, appreciate, and enjoy both the skillful game and its rich culture.
- As a group of passionate Go enthusiasts and volunteers, we've established this club to share our love of Go and provide opportunities to physically practice this fascinating game in person.
- Our long-term vision is to build a Go museum in Silicon Valley. We aim to preserve and revitalize Go's cultural essence, by combining ancient Go equipment, game records, and books with modern AI analysis.
